ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Marcus Danz was born in 1974 and lives with his family in Northern Germany. In his main job he works at an institute for children and juveniles with mental disabilities.
He first explored creative possibilities of expression in music and digital animations, before turning to photography in 2006. He soon acquired extensive self-taught knowledge of composition principles and advanced editing techniques. Since 2019, he has been sharing this knowledge via his website bilderschmied.com.
The "edition one | timeframe" is not only a manifestation of his long-standing photographic experience and pursuit for visual perfection, but also reveals a deep insight into a world full of romance and melancholy. -
ABOUT THE EDITION
On the one hand the lack of time is a limiting factor for my creativity, on the other hand it raises an inspiring question: Is it possible to make best use of the rare photographic opportunities by going beyond commonly used timeframes of photography to depict the perceived mood of a location in its temporal entirety?
With purchasing of one of my pictures you will receive a limited work of art framed in time, which you will enjoy for many years. You are not only enabling me to continue my photographic journey, but you will also support the André-Streitenberger Institute, where seven long-term ventilated children and adolescents have found a cosy home in a familiar atmosphere - and thus a liveable alternative to the sterility of a regular intensive care unit.
"PRINT | UNBOXING"
What you will receive: have a look at the sturdy packaging, the certificate of authenticity and the print itself.
AND HERE'S WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY:
-
SILKE H.
We are very happy with the print we ordered from you. The motif is well chosen and photographed. The colours are great and the paper is also of high quality. We will certainly visit your shop again.

WALTER E.
Everything went to my complete satisfaction: the ordered prints arrived promptly and were packed bomb-proof in a hard cardboard tube, each wrapped in tissue paper. Above all, the quality of the prints is impressive: The colours, contrast and sharpness of even the smallest details are simply outstanding. I am very glad that I treated myself to two works at once.
